Lectical Decision Making Assessment
The LDMA is an assessment of workplace decision-making skills. It focuses on three aspects of decision making: perspective taking, argumentation, and the decision-making process.
The LLRA is an assessment of reasoning about leadership. It examines how individuals think about a range of leadership qualities and how these relate to their overall conception of a good leader.
The LERA is an assessment of ethical reasoning skills. It focuses on two aspects of ethical reasoning: the good (what we value) and the moral (what is right or just).
The LRJA is an assessment of the way people think about knowledge, truth, and inquiry. Well developed reflective judgment skills support learning, critical thinking, and decision-making. Higher levels of reflective judgment are a good predictor of academic success.
The LSUA is an assessment of self in relationships. It examines how individuals think about the self in a range of relationships, and how these relate to their current self-conception and the self they would like to be.
The LIMA has been designed to examine the complexity, coherence, and integration of a test taker's reasoning about the integral model. The LIMA is available only to individuals who are part of the iTeach research project. Do not take this assessment unless you have been directed to do so.
The LDPA is an assessment of reasoning about human development and pedagogy. Students in the Foundations of Lectical Assessment course take this assessment as part of their coursework.
The LMBE is available only to individuals who are taking a participating course in Mind, Brain, and Education. Do not take this assessment unless you have been directed to do so.
The Lectical Solloway Mindfulness Assessment™ (LSMA) is an assessment of how mindfulness practitioners understand concepts related to emotion, awareness, control, insight, nonjudgmentalness, and transformation. It is a Lectical™ Assessment, which means that student understanding is measured on the Lectical™ Scale. The LSMA can be used to measure growth over time (at the level of the individual or the group).
The Solloway Mindfulness Survey™ (SMS) is designed for novice mindfulness practitioners, who are asked to rate 16 statements regarding their experience of the effects of mindfulness practice. Use the SMS to stimulate reflection or to examine change over time.
